Slow, intentional, and deeply satisfying 🧶✨. These workshops focus on techniques done entirely by hand with no sewing machines required! Rooted in the same creative world, these skills both support and stand alongside machine-based making. From hand embroidery and mending to pattern making and knitting, we’ll explore the quiet magic of working bit by bit.
Perfect for anyone craving a slower pace 🐌, a deeper connection to materials, or skills you can take anywhere. Come build patience, precision, and confidence while making something beautiful, useful, or both—with your hands, your brain, and a little bit of heart 💖.

I had the absolute best time at Hillary’s sewing class! 🧵✨ She’s incredibly knowledgeable and teaches in such a methodical, professional way that makes everything feel easy to follow, even if you’re a total novice! Somehow, she also manages to keep you laughing the entire time, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
I walked away learning so much and feeling inspired! 🙌 whether you’re looking for a cute girlie evening at a workshop or some more serious sewing, Hillary is your girl! -
Jennifer
Learning to sew with Hillary has been such a fun and empowering experience! Not only is she skilled, but she works with all of her students with the perfect mix of patience and humor. Her approach to teaching, and her personal style make the learning experience so much fun. Highly recommend!!

Sarah Lynn
I've visited Hilary's studio multiple times now and I LOVE going to her space! She did alterations on a vintage jacket that didn't quite fit me, and I've also attended her classes. In her classes, Hilary is patient, inclusive, and kind and makes sure that all of her students feel encouraged. She's brings that same warmth and energy to fittings and custom work to make sure that my clothes fit me, not the other way around. I highly recommend!
