Cut it out: Fabric Scissors
We need to talk about fabric scissors ✂️. This is serious business, people. You’ve been yelled at by your grandmother or at the very least, seen the memes: fabric scissors are for fabric only!!!!!!!!!!!
But let’s get more specific, my dear.
If you want to keep them 🔪pristine, the blades should ONLY open and close when they’re actually cutting fabric. No dramatic air-snipping because it feels satisfying, no thread cutting when sewing (use snips!) and absolutely no paper 😱.
😉Pro move: give your blades a quick wipe every few cuts. It keeps buildup from dulling them over time.
What’s the best? Any pair you can get sharpened over and over again. Treat them well and they will return the favor. ✂️
